Excellent Nepalese food in the heart of the Sydney CBD. Everything cooked fresh snd despite this service is fast even with the busy lunch crowd. We ordered a chicken chowmein ($14.90) and chicken momos deep fried 10pcs ($15.90). The chicken chowmein was a large portion, good amount if chicken, nicely seasoned and a little kick of chili. The chicken momos were very tasty. A little on the small side but you do get 10 pieces. This place is so good I went back to eat for a second time in one week. Staff are super friendly too. Will be on my regular lunch rotation list.
I just had Chicken Sadheko Momo(Dumplings). I special requested for Pan fried instead of Deep fried. It comes out just Awesome with full of flavours. Chef used a good blend of spices, lemon juice, tomatoes and onion with hint of fresh coriander. it's must try thing if you like some spicy dumplings.
An Unforgettable Himalayan Feast! Stepping into The Himalaya Bites felt like being transported to the heart of Nepal — warm ambiance, soul-touching food and a vibe that whispers comfort. The brick wall, the neon lights and the aroma of spices made the perfect setting for what turned out to be a divine dining experience. Chef Farhan is nothing short of a culinary magician! The veg momos were pillowy perfection — soft on the outside, bursting with flavor inside. The veg biryani was aromatic, balanced and made with such love that every bite felt like home. The veg noodles were cooked to flawless tenderness, with a smoky wok flavor that lingered beautifully. And the ginger tea? It was the kind of cup that warms your soul and cures your worries. Every dish tasted handcrafted with heart and the service was just as warm as the food. 10/10 doesn’t do justice. This place deserves a constellation of stars! Thank you, Chef Farhan, for taking our tastebuds on a journey beyond the ordinary.
I’ve been wanting to try more Nepalese and came across this place. I had Khu Momo (hot & sour spicy noodles with momos) was so tasty, seems healthy too as it was packed with veggies . Reasonably priced & location is convenient. This place also shares a space with Catchup Sushi so it’s a great spot if you and your friends want both Nepalese & Japanese food for lunch! Prams & wheelchairs friendly. Plenty of Vegan & Vegetarian menu.
Found this little gem tucked away near QVB. Excellent food. I ordered both the steamed and fried chicken momos. Also ordered chicken chow mein. The order was served quickly. We ate at one of tables inside the building alcove. The momos were very tasty. The chicken was flavorful with herbs and dipping sauce was a nice complement to the momos. The chowmein was spicy. It had nice flavors, and then after one bite, the heat started to make you crave more. I'm sure it wasn't spicy to most folks. I would come back again.
Food was too good , exactly to the point test. Pricing is right , per person $14-$20 will fill your stomach. Very friendly staff, they even charged my phone.
I’m definitely going back to the himalayan bites again. The food, service, and atmosphere all came together for a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food and a pleasant meal!
Had taken chicken and mutton biryanis. It was lovely taste, portion size was quite large and filling. There were no accompaniments like raitha or curry or salad.. after lunch had to throw off the disposable plates and we couldn't find a bin.
